STG Second Annual Extra Life Charity Fundraiser 2018

Calling All Gamers! STG is gearing up for our second year of Extra Life Charity Fundraising and we need your help! Our team is on a mission to help sick and injured kids in our local communities. This charity supports our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital that treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their illness, injury or even their family's ability to pay. The specific hospital we have chosen to support is the Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore MD. Here's how it works -Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. -On Game Day (Nov. 3rd), STG will join the thousands of gamers and dedicate an entire day to play games and get donations from friends like YOU! -100% of the donations go to my local hospital. TOGETHER we will make a difference for sick kids! We need your help to reach our goal For The Kids! Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. Then on November 3, 2018, we will be hosting a public charity event at the Bridgeville Public Library were anyone can come in and sit down at one of our many gaming stations and play! Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch will all be available, as well as a VR both courtasy of Escape Reality.Please stay tuned STG Facebook events page for the ever growing list of attraction and raffles! And of course it wouldn't be an STG event without tournaments! We will be holding tournaments all afternoon starting at 1pm. Games include. Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Dragon Ball Fighters, Street Fighter 5 and our very our King of the Couch Tournament. All competitions excluding King of the Couch, cost $5 to enter and are single elimination unless time allows for double elimination. King of the Couch - for $1 each player will sit on the couch and play a round on a random game. The winner gets to stay while the loser(s) have to leave and any other challenger must pay $1 to challenge the champ. Every couple for rounds the game will change potentially causing chaos and a changing of players. The player with the most wins by time end is the champ. Can't make it to the event? Not a Problem! We will also be hosting a public video game live stream at the event so everyone can join in the fun and share their love of gaming and raise even more money from people all around world watching us live!
