Membership in the Friends of the Bridgeville Library provides an opportunity to be a part of a group of dedicated community members that create opportunities to make the Bridgeville Library the place for residents of all ages to learn and grow.

The Friends of the Bridgeville Library, Inc. is an incorporated non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in July, 2007. The goals and purpose of our organization are as follows:

• Maintain an association of persons interested in assisting the library in developing programs to meet current community needs.
• Promote knowledge of the functions and needs of the library.
• Stimulate the use of the library’s resources and services.
• Aid in providing funds for specific library needs.
• Encourage endowments and bequests to the Bridgeville Public Library, Inc.
• Maintain relations between the Bridgeville Public Library and Bridgeville citizens by providing a channel for individuals and organization to express ideas and to make suggestions for library use and service.
