During the week of December 5th, Keith Lohmeyer will host 4 workshops on how to solder as you make a blinking tree ornament. The dates and time for each workshop are Monday December 5th from 5:30-7pm, Thursday December 8th from 5:30-7pm, Friday December 9th from 5:30-7pm, and Saturday December 10th from 12:30-2pm.
Each ornament will take one session, space is limited to 6 people per session. Only one session per person. Anyone under the age of 16 must have an adult partner. Registration is required by Wednesday November 30th. Please contact the circulation desk at (302) 337-7401, ext 101 to sign up.
On Wednesday December 7th from 6-7pm, the Literacy Education Assistance Pups, L.E.A.P., will be at the Bridgeville Library. Come read to the dogs. This program is free and open to all kids. Not all the dogs will be available at all the sessions. Come to each session and you can meet many of the dogs. The last session will be held on Wednesday December 21st.
Story Book Yoga with Miss Kelcie on Wednesday December 7th from 1-2pm
Wednesday December 7th from 1-2pm, join us as Miss Kelcie shares her fun program that introduces this healthy practice to kids. Miss Kelcie will be here every other Wednesday from 1-2pm. This yoga program is for ages 3 and up. Make sure you bring your own yoga mat or towel, as we will be on the floor.
Wednesday December 14th, two event times for 11am and 6pm. Join us as Santa visits for a snack, pictures craft time, and fun. This program is free and open to the public.
We encourage families to bring an unopened and unwrapped toy for the ‘Toys For Tots” toy drive. RSVP’s are required, please contact the library circulation desk at (302) 337-7401, ext 101.
Bring your Luv Bug to the Bridgeville Public Library on Wednesday mornings at 10:00am to participate in our early literacy lapsit program. The Caterpillar Clubhouse is a cradle to crayons program for your child age 3 months to 3 years.
