Mary Treat: A Biography
Join us on Tuesday, March 28th at 2pm for an Author Talk and Book Signing on Mary Treat: A Biography. Novelist Barbara Kingsolver cast a fictionalized Mary Treat as a main character in her 2018 bestseller Unsheltered. Since then, many have sought to learn more about the 19th century naturalist. Biographer Deborah Boerner Ein tells the story of Mary Treat through the original files from the Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society.
