The Bridgeville Library is a Meal Site for the Woodbridge Summer Feeding program. Join us for a meal at the Bridgeville Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Noon, following our Summer Reading Programs that begin at 11am. *All food must be consumed at the library.

Teen SRP Stepping Stones

Join us as we paint garden stepping stones. We have seven designs to choose from. Space and design choice will be limited. Registration is required by Monday June 25th. Please contact the circulation desk at (302) 337-7401, ext 101 to sign up. When you sign up, you will need to choose which design you would like to paint. Design choices are posted in the event comments. We will be limited to 25 participants, and can only accommodate 5 stones per design. Choices and participation will be on a first come, first served basis.

Summer Reading Program, "Libraries Rock!"

Registration for our 2018 Summer Reading Program, “Libraries Rock!” begins on Friday June 1st, and reading logs are due on Thursday August 9th. We have two age groups for our programs, Birth-11 years, and 12-17 years. The program will conclude on Saturday August 11th with our end of Summer Reading Program Parties. Stop by the circulation desk to register and pick up your program packet. The Summer Reading Program will kickoff on Saturday June 2nd from 11am-2pm during our annual Jumpin’ June Jamboree.

Caterpillar Clubhouse

Bring your Luv Bug to the Bridgeville Public Library on Wednesday mornings at 10:00am to participate in our early literacy lapsit program. The Caterpillar Clubhouse is a cradle to crayons program for your child age 3 months to 3 years.

Sussex County 4-H Tech Club

The Sussex County 4-H Tech meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 5-6:30pm. Mr. Keith hosts the meeting at the Bridgeville Public Library. You may join as many of the project groups as you would like. This is open to all current AND non-4H’ers grades 4-12. The club will cover different topics each week.

Basic Tech Assistance

We now offer Basic Tech Assistance on a walk-in basis every first and third Monday of each month from 5-7pm. If you need more than basic assistance, you can visit Inspiration Space available at the Seaford and Georgetown Libraries.
