July Special Summer Reading Programs

Jeff Hopkins, Storyteller will perform on Tuesday, July 16th @ 2pm. Jeff is a storyteller, web series host, illustrator, and long-time advocate for the arts in education. He performs live drawing an storytelling shows across the country! Join us with Amber Tamosaitis on Monday, July 22nd at 3:30pm. Amber is a Japanese-to-English Translator, Narrative Designer and Author. In this hour session, she will focus on super basics like greetings, simple phrases, asking and giving your name, and writing a few characters. Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre will perform "Robin Hood" on Tuesday, July 23rd @ 3pm. Join us for tricks and disguises, and plenty of laughs, with two actors who bring eight fanciful characters and the story to life. This energetic, imaginative forty-five minute production is sure to delight family audiences of all ages!

Children's Programs

Join Ms. Hilary for Story Book Corner on Tuesdays @ 10am at the library for all ages. The theme for the Summer Reading Program is "Adventure Begins at Your Library", so there will be stories, songs, and rhymes about adventure. It will be held at Seaford Chick-Fil-A on Tuesday, July 9th @ 10am. Join us for Kids Craft Day on Wednesdays at 10am. All ages are welcome! Bring your child to the library on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month @11am to read to the L.E.A.P. dogs. The goal of the Literacy Education Assistance Pups is to improve the literacy skills of children and grow their enthusiasm for reading. We are so happy to have them back at the library! All ages are welcome! Saturday Story Book Brunch will be on Saturday, July 20th at 10am.

Join us on Saturday, August 10th from 11am-1pm as we discuss the book selection “The Beautiful Mystery” by Louise Penny and enjoy a variety of Canadian-inspired cuisine.
