Virtual Origami with Yasu Ishida

Join Magician & Storyteller Yasu Ishida on a magical journey of origami, a paper folding art! Learn how to make amusing action origami which animates to fly, flip, jump and snap for Tweens and Teens. This hands-on workshop focuses on folding 3-4 action origami designs, such as traditional flapping bird, jumping frog and even a wiggling dinosaur.

Friends Annual Meeting

Join DASEF at the library on Tuesday, July 6th at 10 am to get deTAILed facts about animals and their tails, create a new animal with a specialized tail, do some “ZOO-ineering” to design zoo habitats for animals with tails, and write a fictional tale about what it would be like if YOU had a tail.

Kiwanis BBQ Fundraiser

The Bridgeville Library invites you to support us by purchasing BBQ Chicken Platters on Saturday, July 17th and Sunday, July 18th starting at 9 am at the Kiwanis Stand on Seashore Highway. A whole chicken is $8 and a half chicken is $7.50. Please consider purchasing a Pre-Sale Ticket from the Library or a Friends member before July 5th.
